Individual Psychotherapy
Individual analytic work offer an opportunity to slow down and turn inward, delving into thoughts, emotions, and patterns that shape daily reactions and experiences. Together, we embark on a journey to uncover the underlying layers of being—whether it’s navigating identity, relationships, history of painful experiences, or gaining a deeper, more comprehensive understanding of oneself.
The goal is not to fix what’s “wrong” but rather to enhance self-awareness, expanding emotional capacity, and discovering new ways of relating to self. The strategies developed to survive and navigate life carry profound wisdom, and together, we’ll explore the unconscious, gaining insights into the past, with the hope of illuminating the present.
My approach is collaborative, relational, responsive, and rooted in curiosity with a deep respect for the complexities and systems that have impacted - all of who you are. I don’t perceive our work as a quick fix but rather as a nurturing relationship that requires time to develop. While acquiring direct skills is valuable, the analytic work emphasizes exploration, and understanding of your inner world.

LGBTQIA+ Interpersonal
Process Group
The group provides a space to explore underlying aspects of the self and relationship patterns while building tolerance for navigating interpersonal dynamics. Members are encouraged to express their challenges, feelings, reactions openly and honestly as they arise.
Group offers a unique opportunity for self-discovery within relationships. Members learn to move through their thoughts, feelings, and reactions in the moment, gradually developing the skills to observe and articulate their inner experiences. While this may seem simple, it is some of the hardest work we do. Many of us are accustomed to acting on our thoughts and emotions automatically—group helps us slow down and notice what is happening “behind the scenes” in our own minds.
What unfolds beneath the surface profoundly shapes how we engage with the world. Through this process, we strengthen our ability to experience, understand, and make sense of our inner lives, often slowly healing the painful experiences that have impacted how we relate to those around us.
Doing this work in an LGBTQIA+ group is particularly important, as it provides a space where members can explore these dynamics without the burden of explaining or justifying their identities. In a world that often invalidates or misunderstands queer and trans experiences, this group fosters a sense of safety, recognition, and belonging—allowing members to engage in deeper self-exploration and interpersonal connection.

Supervision & Consultation
In supervision and consultation, I understand that therapists, especially early in their careers, are constantly evolving. As a young therapist, you bring fresh perspectives, but also face challenges and uncertainties. These moments of doubt are essential to the growth of your therapeutic identity. My role is not to provide all the answers but to walk with you as you learn.
I value self-curiosity deeply. What helped me feel grounded as a clinician was working with supervisors who helped me listen for and tune into my own therapeutic voice—not that of my mentors, but mine. My hope is that you, too, can discover your voice, and together, we can watch it take shape.
Family Psychotherapy
Families are shaped by patterns, both spoken and unspoken, that influence how members interact with each other. In therapy, we collaborate to slow down, observe these dynamics, and discover new ways of engaging.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals within family systems, assisting families in navigating the challenges that can arise when members have differing understandings and integrations of their identities. Whether it involves exploring identity, addressing misunderstandings, or working through deep-seated historical conflicts, therapy provides a safe space to strengthen connections and foster mutual understanding.
Adopting a family systems and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework, we center our approach on the emotions and attachment needs at the heart of family interactions. Instead of merely resolving surface-level disagreements, we strive to create more secure and supportive relationships where all members feel seen and valued. My hope is for the work to feel collaborative - holding a deep respect of the uniqueness of each family’s experience.
Education & Training
My approach to learning is grounded in the belief that we are all lifelong learners. None of us have all the answers, and we all have gaps in our knowledge. Often, we don’t even realize what we don’t know until we’re in conversation with others or experience a painful moment with a client. The work we do is constantly evolving, as we listen more deeply to those around us, especially those with lived experience. Knowing when to ask questions and lean into curiosity is my ongoing commitment to this work.
I believe that learning is relational and collaborative. It’s about the connections we make, the shared experiences, and the openness to growth that we bring into each space. In my work, I strive to create a container where we all feel like we’re learning together - a space where we can explore the important topics, address our limitations, uncover our gaps, and, most importantly, discover what you want to know. My hope is that the work we do together reflects this spirit - where there is no expert, only a shared knowledge of mutual respect.

“Lieb has shown me what true empathy looks like. Their genuine lack of judgement and gentle encouragement have helped me see a path to accepting and forgiving parts of me I never thought I could. Thanks to our work, the version of me that I felt I had to keep hidden away is actually getting acknowledged and invited to come out to play. To know Lieb is a gift and to be their patient is an absolute deepest privilege.”
